Has anyone spoken to Damien or the band lately?
Just wondered if anyone who knows them a little better than most has heard of what the plans are or anything - any gigs or... the length of the break - or just what's going down in damo land?
x

I talked to Shane at the Greek in september. I was quite excited, so I don't remember everything he said (just had pictures in my head, seeing behind the massive dude, that vyv was heading out of the bus...). The band would take a 2 year break but damien might go "solo"

2 years... feckin hell. i spoke to damien in november and he said he didn't know what the plans were really, just that he wanted to go do some traveling with a little bag full of nothing more than essentials - you know, to get his feet back on the ground. it'd be a real shame if the band never got round to reuniting. Still, damien solo with quench my thirst for the time being thanks! x

I talked to him as well after the Cardiff gig and, yeah well he said basically the same to me; when I asked when he would perform again he answered: indefinite.
So.... nothing new to add |

Maybe I have been out of the loop but did the band break up or something? I was a little confusing reading this thread just now. Is Damien taking time off?

Haina, the tour is over, so they're taking a break. They are will be back, but haven't decided when... I doubt it will be too long a break.

Sad. I was hoping for at least another album before they did something like take a break.
