Shane
hey. whats shane like? Has anyone chatted to him? You can tend to feel sorry for him cos he stands at the back and you cant hear the bass line much, i think, i dont know, im sure if they took it away it would sound different. except that bass line in 'woman like a man'. G8.
Can u expain why the whole band wear those things in their ears? The earphones? Im thick |

Shane is really nice. I saw him and lisa and vyv, and one of the guys from pedestrian many times before the last LA show as they were going in and out of the venue, and shane said hello every time he walked by us. He was very friendly, smiling and everything.

Don't worry about Shane - bass players are used to standing in the back. All the bassists I've ever met have been nice, laid back people - I think it's just that personality goes with the instrument.
Of course, Sid Vicious is the exception that proves the rule. Not that he actually played much bass, mind you... |

The things in the ears are in-ear monitors, they use them instead of "wedges" at the front of the stage.

using them is a really bad idea though, cos if there's a loud noise in those buggars you get it straight into your brain. damaged hawksley workman's hearing last spring. don't use'em folks!
