thats an amazing venue!! is it in germany?
i saw pete murray a few weeks ago and he was excellent. he didnt expect anyone at the irish show as the album was barely released here but he ended up selling it out weeks in advance his backing band were incredible too also i got the setlist from backstage as my friends band played there the night after and they left some stuff behind - including a bottle of champagne!!

Ryan Adams in February was the last artist I saw last. I really need to get to more gigs but no-one wants to drive me to the artists I like...

i sort of experienced sigur ros at roskilde, and i can really recommend them. i was kinda tired when they were on, so i sat outside the tent and just enjoyed the vibe, but i think next time they're in DK i'll go see them - i'm no huge fan of their music/his voice, but the live experience seemed amazing, even from where my lazy arse sat...

Haven't seen this thread in a while.
Recently went to Stephen Fretwell courtesy of Richard who passed on the tickets to me cheers for that again. Jet a few weeks back were pretty damn good I haven't seen that much crowd surfing in years And last week I went to see Air in the Manchester Acadamy, they actually play their stuff a little differently live, some of it is a bit more edgy.

the thermals!
they were absolutely spot on live. and the venue was this weird, intimate bavarian-looking dinner theater. hutch harris and kathy foster were just hanging out watching the opening acts (both from spokane), so i got to talk to them before the show.
