Printer Clips
For those who haven't seen, Lisa's been announced in the line-up of new band 'Printer Clips', and Paul Noonan's in on it too!

Or actually, a Paul Noonan duet album with a show, rather than a band. Should have had a more thorough google before posting, apologies!

lyrics for Apparatchik:
1, 2, 3, 4 House always wins So don’t cry, cry Down like water Down like sand Got to try, ‘cause I I am an old dog This is a new trick I won’t look down, down Apparatchik These are the punches that we roll with This is the sh*t When it’s so much easier to stomach it I’m downwind of you Black berets and blue jeans A wry smile, a smile From the glue For your tip tape I get high, high All these cars Have lost their soul In the race for the prize, compromise Apparatchik These are the punches that we roll with n This is the sh*t When it’s so much easier to stomach it And I’m downwind of you 'Cause you give good odour And you raise my game From this high rise hoping You steal my gains Stuck together with traffic jams Sweaty palms Apparatchik These are the punches that we roll with This is the sh*t When it’s so much easier to stomach it I’m downwind of you Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Laugh now but one day we’ll be in charge Last edited by damien lisa; 08-29-2014 at 09:51 AM. |

Sorry, but are those really the official lyrics?. At least with the most beautiful verse in that song:
'Cause you give good order/odour And you raise my game From this high rise open You steal my gaze Stuck together with traffic jams Sweaty palms For a while there, I can close my eyes and not see Lisa always with Damien. Brilliant gesture from Paul to invite Lisa on for this one. |

no it's not official lyrics, and i don't really get the meaning of the song. Something politic?

I believe that the lyrics are 'Black berries, blue cheese' instead of 'Black berrets, blue jeans'. At least that's what I heard on the radio the other day. There was a live show with Paul an Lisa on.
