Absolutely

I was just thinking of the devious e-baying types who trawl fan sites as soon as gigs are mentioned in order to prune pre-sale codes, buy a load of tickets, then make hilarious profits with them.

It happens an awful lot now, indeed there's a forum on a well known money saving / making internet site that regularly posts the links.

The pre-sale link for the UK gigs is on the gigs page. It doesn't work yet though.

Glad to know I'm not alone! I wonder what it is we did? We must have something in common...Have you ever threatened to perform any kind of public dance involving nudity and at least three types of power tool...?

I've never been to an all seated gig at the Apollo in Manchester. It's always been floor standing, and seats for the rest.

Sigh...no Canadian gigs. Anyone else disappointed? I suppose that I shouldn't complain seeing as I saw him in July (and I'm going to Chicago to see him in December), but I would like to see him again here.

Hmm I've got like most of March off college, I'm tempted to fly off to Holland or Denmark or somewhere for the craic. Can I crash on your couch Cille?

Yeah i've heard nothing about a promo code either or are you all keeping it a secret? Given I came all the way to Ireland to see him in August, I'm pretty keen to see him playing in my backyard. Hook me up

Okey dokey. Firstly there isn't a code for the pre-sale tickets. Just the link, as featured on this site on the gigs page that, at the moment, takes you to an artist not found page.

This will change tomorrow at 9am to the page to book pre-sale tickets.

Seetickets, who are selling the tickets for the Damo gigs, don't use codes like Ticketmaster do. They simply set up a page just for the pre-sale tickets, that only people with the correct URL can access.

The links for the pre-sale tickets are indeed on the gigs page here

happy2bhere - the Apollo is an old theatrical establishment and usually for gigs, usually but not always, has an all standing ground floor, which slopes up towards the back of the venue (so even if you're a wee small thing you should still get a good view from wherever you stand) - and seated stalls.

I really like the venue. The sound is good and it never gets too hot.
