Default Amnesty International 2018

May be, in Paris, 10 december 2018.
According to last year announcement:

On December 10, 2018, exactly 70 years after the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights –
a grand concert will be held at the AccorHotels Arena in Paris on 10th December 2018!
More information to follow.

I was there 20 years ago !
...
The concert titled The Struggle Continues... took place on December 10, 1998
- the exact 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
It was presented in Paris, France - the city where the original Declaration had been signed in 1948.
The concert starred Bruce Springsteen, Peter Gabriel, Radiohead,
Robert Plant & Jimmy Page (of Led Zeppelin), Tracy Chapman, Alanis Morissette and Shania Twain.
...
What can we expect for 2018...???

I wish for a solo Damo gig rather than a lot of people with everyone singing the one song

Sorry for the late answer, Chrysler and Borneoman.

Yes, first i was sure it would be some event at the 10th december,
with the official announcement from last year,
and as Damien told us after the Budapest gig...
But as the date went closer and we could read nothing about it,
i decided to write some E-mail and to have some phone call !
First i had an answer from the venue (Bercy) Accor Arena,
and they told me there is no event in december with Amnesty International.
So i wrote to a lot of venues in Paris, like Zenith, Olympia, Pleyel and others.
But everytime the same answer...
After that, i wrote and phoned to "Amnesty International Event",
and sadly they confirmed me this event was "cancelled"...

Damien came to the Palais de Chaillot for the World Summit of Human Rights at the closing ceremony.

Of course,
may be he will come back at the 10th december and make an own show somewhere at an hidden place, but who knows...
