Default lisa on french tv

french eskimos... let is know the details

from her myspace:

Quote:
Happy New Year/French TV
Happy (and belated) new year,
Dublin really is beautiful in the snow, and all the schools are closed
which increases the general level of exuberance and mischief about.
I'm off to Paris on tuesday for the tv show "One Shot Not" if there's
any french people reading, fingers crossed the airport is open by
then. I want a proper black coffee, real onion soup, and a look at
some french snow.

nah that was mostly a french band, it sounded slower than the actual version on Lille. she had like a real professional famous trumpeter guy barker with her but i think i prefer donagh.
when she sang "i dont know", i missed tomo back up vocals too...
that was a great performance, not an outstanding one...

just to let you know that she will performing in Cannes just a few kilometers from Nice, in the south of france for the midem 2010 event. that might be for a couple songs but i'll try to be part of it if someone wants to join

thanks for the little review

i think it´s a big step for her to sing without her band, cause she seems to be more confidence when the guys are there as a backup.

Those were two neat performances, though Lisa seemed a bit nervous especially during Lille!
Nevertheless, well done Lisa!
And thanks for the link!

*EDIT*

I just found this on youtube:

Apparently someone ripped it from ARTE Germany, so the female host introducing Lisa speaks german. She doesn't say much, just that Lisa may be known from her collaboration with Damien and that after splitting with him Lisa finally dared go solo.

i think she missed the "lads". she looked to one side, and to the other one... and she find herself alone.

speaking of dresses (well, i just did, hehe), would any of you give a dress like this one as my birthday present ? i just love it! of course, it suits lisa perfectly

The dress she's wearing during the performance is one of my fav Lisa dresses and I also like her look in the short part right before the actual performance...

The guy Lisa talks to at the start of Lille, is it the drummer (?) who posted on his myspace that he was working with Damien Rice on a new album. Think this was around last summer and his name completely escapes me.

There's a backstage video of Lisa on the ARTE website but I think it will be taken down soon (it says that it was posted on July 15th and will be online for a month...) so I hope you'll read this in time:

http://www.arte.tv/de/content/tv/02_...n/3151020.html

And it's not dubbed!

thanks for sharing
(how much i LOVE that dress.)

i like what she said... specially when she talked about the physical "proof" of music. i´m so love holding cds. one the first thing i do when i buy a cd is reading the credits, because i know there were so many people working and making so much effort behind that physical object...
