the selling starts in an hour in argentina, so i can´t say a word yet. i´m quite sure that´s why it is not listed.

I don't know... every show is listed prior to the selling, to check prices and seat distribution or if it's GA or whatever. It's very weird that none of the shows are available to check on their respective websites :S

In Chile the producers hired a theatre for a thousand people. These tickets could only purchased online and, at least in this country, only wealthy people buy in that way. So... me and my boyfriend are without tickets (there are no more tickets... was sold out in 4 hours).

Also, the system worked awful.

It is sad that the show of such a humble artist like Damien Rice end up being elitist ... especially in South America.

For São Paulo the tickets were listed at 10:00, just as announced on the tour page.
At 10:05 I've already bought my tickets.

that stinks!!!! I think the worse part was that no one was able to see what the prices were ahead of time. Sorry to hear you couldn't get tickets..
I thought ticket prices were a bit expensive. The venue in Lima is supposed to hold only 250 people, but you can't even find a seating chart! so even though it says I got row 4, I don't even know on what side of theater they are.

i think the main problem in south america is the currency. that´s why the tickets can be expensive. we pay the local price (with local currency) but all expenses are in dollars (mostly, or euros, which is worse).

all that said, i found tickets in argentina fair enough. i thought they would be more expensive.

as for the systems, they were all messy. perhaps sao paulo was the exception (but manaos and rio were crappy too), glad for you guimabdo. problem was that tickets couldn´t be purchased from abroad. a friend of mine was planning to see him in sao paulo, as she will be on holidays over there, but wasn´t able to get a ticket.

i´m so sorry to hear that. hopefully, you will still have a chance closer to the date of the gig. fingers crossed!

oh so sorry to hear you couldn't get tickets.
like vere said, I don't think the artist is to blame here, but the producers who handle all the venues and ticket sales and how they want to compensate the currency to their favor

it was very messy in every single one of the south american countries, and I think that's just a reflection of the every day life, sadly

Anyway, stay alert. Maybe there will be returned tickets closer to the date

Me and my boyfriend felt like the scene in "Pretty Woman" when she has the money to buy, but as is "badly dressed" the system will not let her, haha. We had the money to front row, but did not know to use the VISA card. We are college students, we don't need a card (or so we thought).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nu3x5SZrMHo

The fault lies not with Damien, of course. Unfortunately he is not aware of these things.

It is awful that they have not done a market study, a little analysis, I do not know. I understand that in Argentina was worse, because there are more fans and there were fewer tickets. But what happened in Chile was socioeconomic violence, and thats barbarian.

The good thing is that now comes Morrissey. There is a light that never go out (?). A little-big light into the darkness.

again, i´m really sorry about that. i don´t intent to defend the system in argentina (even back in 2009 was very messy and disorganized), where the venue is smaller, but we also have ticket centres to buy a ticket.

i totally get what you mean about the credit card. it happened to me until a few years ago (and i wasn´t longer a student). i keep my fingers crossed for you guys
