^ yeah, we've been ripped! Or maybe she figured David's plan out and changed her mind?

It's a lovely album btw. And not as quirky overall as I had feared - it gets deep and soft towards the middle/end. And then: Random man, which is great too

^Khm! Maybe she figured out that you'd try to steal my idea, as you tried to steal Amy from me, and didn't sign your CD. She wants the best for her clone, and living in Denmark and doing all that Denmarky stuff you people do there is not the best possible outcome.

Look, I claimed Vyv looong before you entered this site - possibly even long before you were born, so back off, Sunshine Gullasch

My order arrived today from Ireland!
I just received the package. So, the 2 items from www.vyviennelong.com have arrived. Birdtalk EP and Caterpillar Sarabande.

Oh and... I don't see anything signed on them. The font on the Caterpillar Sarabande album has Vyvienne's name in a cursive font, is that the signature we're expecting? It doesn't match the one that was signed from the show.

from damien´s site:
Quote:
Vyvienne Long's debut album

Vyvienne Long's debut album 'Caterpillar Sarabande' is released March 5th, but a limited edition with groovy artwork is available to order via her website.
Catch Vyvienne during some of her final tour dates listed below:
Thu 4th March - The New Adelphi, Hull
Fri 5th March - The Bull and Gate, London
See Vyvienne's official website for full details.
nice gesture

absolutely a nice guesture.

I'm really wondering about this "limited edition with groovy artwork". I have two copies of this album now: one an eskimofriend bought me at one of her shows , the second one was ordered from vyviennelong.com. These are both identical except the one from the show was signed under the CD area by Vyvienne.

Great to see you finally received your CDs!! It didn't take that long =). I'll post here once I do get mine. I was hoping they'd be autographed but I'll still be happy once I receive the album.

That one signed is the one I sent you. I asked her to sign for you ;-)

The one you got from me and from her website is the groovy artwork, since it will not be like that on the stores (she said it would be too expansive),makes it limited ;-)

Thanks Amie R. for clarifying that! That makes a lot of sense. I'm actually looking around to collect her "Happy Thoughts" single also.

Just got my copy of Birdtalk, and the CS should arrive next week.

And I noticed a curious thing: the address of the envelope was hand-written, and it was sent by an H. Long, from a private house in Co. Dublin. So at least I seem to have the autograph of a family member of Vyv, that's something

pretty cool Rai! I just checked my packaging: I dont have a name listed on the return address. Its shipping from Dublin for sure though. It looks like woman's handwriting. Ya know, those pretty and neat curving letters.

^^ so is that enough DNA to get started for a production of Vyv's?

^I may only have the DNA of a family member, which is not good enough for a clone. I'm not even sure if I could extract it from the glue and even if I could it might be fragmented. Though I could just patch it up with DNA from South American frogs, but that didn't quite work out for the guys at Jurassic Park so I'm a bit wary of attempting it.

PLUS, what if the family member you get DNA from turns out to be her husband or something...? Uh-ooooh....

^^Nah, she shouldn't worry. Amy Acker, on the other hand might be troubled by the sounds of the battle that's yet to come.

^That would be rather unfortunate. Though if the writing is the husband's then he seems to have some issues. Or the marriage would be illegal in Utah.

i like "test of endurance" (ufff) and "late, always" (soooo me ) the most so far (i´m "in a grey grey mood", i guess :S)... but i also like the funny ones. vyv has a funny funny voice if she want to
