So fortunate that no one was pushing to be in the back or sandwiched in the middle of the crowd.

I think you are one of my favorite people in this forum. I love your insights, because you obviously have connections in the industry. And we now know that what you said about the Lisa situation from years ago were accurate. You definitely keep it real! But, dude! Take it easy on us mere mortals.

I wish you light in your darkness (but only if you need or want it).

Still sifting through all my cards, found some great photos of Glen. I'll put the rest on flickr tomorrow:

I know we're right there with them, but it makes me sad watching Glen and Damien get older. I hope they don't turn into later-years Van Morrisons or Bob Dylans.

I'm not sure what this comment means...

I know Van Morrison and Bob Dylan have changed A LOT throughout their career musically, but I think as people Van and Dylan have pretty much stayed absolutely true to themselves more than anybody.

They are two examples of what musicians should STRIVE to be. Sure, some people may not like some of their music they make in their later years, but they absolutely could not care less. And I think that is something to strive for.

Oh god, no, I'm talking strictly about their voices, not them as individuals nor musicians. They both just completely lost their voices and it bums me out. Leonard Cohen, too, but he's somehow made it work.

Ah, gotcha...

But even still...I saw Bob Dylan semi-recently at a small college here in NJ and I went into the show with little to no expectations of it being "great"....

But the show started and....it was Bob-****ing-Dylan....His voice didn't sound like it did in 1967, but who could expect it to? He still absolutely controlled the crowd and made the night special...And not just any special,...it was Bob Dylan special...

So I can only hope Damien and Glen will follow in these footsteps. Even if their voices crap out, it happens! but that doesn't mean you can't sing or act with feeling.

It hasn't happened to John Fogerty! Hoping it won't happen to them, too. We'll just have to wait and see.
