last year they didn't sell out untill the very last week before the festival, but they had a pretty crappy program so i guess they will have sold out a bit earlier this year, but i'm sure i will be able to get it. even if i miss it i will buy my ticket off the black market if i have to - summa summarum: don't worry i won't let you down!!!

Am liking the new additions

I definitely see some artists/bands that I would like to check out. I also see some "big" names that I could live without.

But Cille, tell me, how is Morten taking it? I know he had his hopes up about Billy C. being there, but somehow I think this is not gonna happen.
Nor is my wish to see QOTSA

They could have spent the money that they spent on getting Axl bloody Rose a lot wiser.

But I'm still gonna enjoy myself, beer bong and everything

well the line-up list isn't necessarily closed yet, they often save a big one till right before the festival so there are still (small) chances of seeing qotsa, who knows...

Reg. Mortschen: yeah he did hope for a summer tour and album release, but he did rejoice immensely when he saw this

Roskilde 2006 is from 29th June to 3 July 2006!
There are still tickets available for Roskilde and you can purchase them through the official website which is www.roskilde-festival.dk
Scandanavian airlines are running direct flights to Copenhagen so if you are interested in going you'd better book sooner rather than later...
This festival is an 8 day party it's a good idea to be there for 24th when the campsite open and the party begins. It's a fantastic festival if you want to hear new quality music.

"you" me, or "you" you? I guess he means me as he knows you're already going. But I don't think I have enough airmiles to fly to Denmark for free. Before Morty swoops in with a cheeky comment about trains: I'm sick of them! Driving myself is out of the question too for several reasons, one of them involving me not being able to drink at Roskilde. Same goes for cycling. I suppose I could walk or swim my way over there, but only if I can set camp next to Animal Collective's tent. If that can be arranged, then I'm coming. See, I set no high standards.

Morten Sez : Well it's probably cheaper to fly than to take the train to DK, think it was around 30 euros round trip per person when Cille and I were in amsterdam last year.
I can promise you that you will at least be able to put up your tent next to people drunk enough to think that they are animal collective members.

i always contemplate, mostly i'm hoping for either 1) A Hazey appearance at this years festival or 2) that the 2007 headliners will be The Smashing Pumpkins, Soul Asylum, The Lemonheads and Weezer.(at least i think a couple of those are bound to show up next year.)
