New photos on DR Instagram, one in studio!

The always dormant DR Instagram account posted 2 photos yesterday, one in studio (!!!) and the other taken by Kari Sturluson (manager, concert promoter & film producer in Reykjavik). No other info though.

Looks like Damien is kind of rehearsing with My Bubba... this is what they posted on twitter/instagram.
They'll be joining him on tour for a few dates in the US it seems.

I saw the My Bubba pics today, too. I think they're from the Fall tour, though (no shaggy hair). I am kinda bummed it's not just him for NY show. I like My Bubba well enough (but not enough to buy their music).

I liked the intimacy of just him and us. It's such a big tour, I guess it might get lonely without other musicians.

I know you're all hoping for a band, but I agree with InspirationDestination. I'd miss the intimacy too. (and I hope the shaggy hair is back

he hasn´t toured with a band in 10 years, it´s about time!!!!! venues are gonna be the same this tour with or without a band... plus he´s playing festivals...

He can get pretty loud with just himself and the pedals. I like a drummer and LOVED the Kila bodhran guy, Ronan. I hate substitute voices for Lisa's parts (they always throw off the song for me). If he incorporate female voices into his new stuff, that might be nice. I like Marketta's contribution to T&T (if that's her in it).

The big venues and festivals could be hard, but can't they just find him a small nook? I saw him in MSG with a band and light shows and it was nice, but I like quieter rage more. If his new stuff is louder and more hard core, I could be convinced to change my mind about the band. I'm sure he's learned how to work better with a team.

I noticed Red Harp is one of the opening acts for Birmingham. I can't find much about them online except they are a local band. "Red Harp is the solo project of Garret Kelly of Wild Sweet Orange.
