Questions for Eskimos!

Hello everyone...

Chicago fan here! I've seen Damien 4 times. Not nearly enough in my opinion. His Bonnaroo show (in 04)

is in my top 3 concerts of all time, I was completely blown away!

I'm quite active over on the Ray LaMontagne forum (#2..there are two of them), and I've been lurking here for a very long time so I thought I should finally sign up and participate over here

Damien and Ray (

)are the objects of my musical affection. I am traveling to Germany in March to see the Berlin show on the 15th. I almost fell off my chair when it was posted that they would be touring together for a few shows in Europe. It is my dream concert! Very excited for this!

Now for the question part.....I was in Berlin before, but it was 14 years ago and I was quite young so I don't remember much about it. Can any of you eskimos familiar with Berlin recommend any reasonably priced places to stay? What are some good pubs/clubs/restaurants? Any interesting places to visit?? Any info would really be appreciated!

I'd suggest you start a new thread for the info on Berlin with a title like 'Where to stay in Berlin?' or something... cos most people scan the titles and might not read the full post.

you're very welcome here, especially as you have impeccable taste in music! i must travel to one of the ray / damien shows too. and i'm going to see ray in 2 days..!
