Of course, no Eskimo music could be found anywhere in sight (like Damien, Frames, BellX1) nor stuff like the obscure Live in Dublin album of that Bruce Springsteen guy (dunno whether you've heard of him)... I just love living in a backward country.

I just remembered Edie Brickell & the New Bohemians - another exception from the rule that all 80ies music sucks.

I used to loooooove Neighbours!!! I still remember that at our class, we ask the teacher to move the 3pm class to 4pm so that we could all watch Neighbours!!!!

But I think that music in the late 80s was great, still got great albums from that era: The Joshua Tree, The Stone Roses, the first Terence Trent D'arby album, the first Tracy Chapman, Doolittle by the Pixies!!!!!!!, The Smiths, The Cure, All About Eve, The Sundays, Sinead O'Connor, Sade, Swing Out Sister...

^ Never seen that video, it's like a James Bond movie!!!! I really love Sade, want a new album so much!!! She's probably the slowest-working artist around, last 2 records were Love Deluxe in 92 and Lover's rock in 2000. So don't ever say Damien is slow

You know which song always comes up to my mind when I think of the 80s? Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up!!!! Remember??
