Default Damien Rice Covers

I thought it would be nice for all musicians here to share their own versions of Damien Rice, and related covers.
Here`s my first one, done it a while ago, kinda rough sounding but I`ll do something better soon-when I get some time!

http://youtube.com/watch?v=AfYDmp7osmY It`s for Delicate

Post yours too!

He he, Ya, I was wondering. It would be cool though if you did get that opportunity but i think she would be more enthusiastic sing one of her own songs with you than digging up the past and singing one of hers and Damien's.

I can play guitar pretty damn well but I am still working on vocals. I hope to be even remotely as good as Rice in maybe 3 to four years time when I am in my early 20s.

I would love to see you do something like cross eyed bear or Grey room

Here is my piano cover of “I remember”. The first link below is to the short version with just me singing and playing piano while the second link is to a more cinematic version.

Vocals, piano, sampling/ambiance, mixing, and everything else was done by me. I had a great time recording this and I hope you enjoy it too. Take care.

Smile My cover of Older Chests. from Japan.

Hi everyone. This is the first time to put a comment here. I am from Japan.
I covered Older Chests on Youtube. Please check it!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-niXAcfT9I

P.S. Damien has never come to Japan and seems not come in a while here. Youtube is an only place to see his performance

I mostly lurk around here, but thought I might finally share some of my covers with fellow fans. Beware: I'm a baritone, and transpose keys liberally.

Here are a few videos:

Elephant

Groovin'

And, I've got a few audio only covers here:

Delicate, The Blower's Daughter

You can probably already guess that Damien Rice has a large influence over my own music and sound. I've collected and sang probably at least half of his output. They are always a treat to pull out at whatever ****ty open mic or coffeehouse gig I can manage to get.

I always record live, so it's not always slick and clean, but I like the organic nature of live recording more.

I created a Volcano cover on a lonely rainy night and I would love to share it with you guys, but I don't know how to do it. I have a 40 mb audio file, which is kinda weird. But I also have a lame video clip which is considerably smaler (3 mb) but retains the same quality of the audio.

Can anyone tell me what site to use in order for any of you interested in it to listen to my cover?
