Damien and Missy Higgins
did anyone know these 2 played some songs together at a show in 2004 in AUS and that Damien is said to be a big fan?
the article is here http://www.undercover.com.au/news/20...amienrice.html

I didn't know that but it's not surprising. I'm a big fan too and would love to hear them together. Her debut "The Sound of White" proved her to be one of the best new female pop singer/songwriters I've heard in quite a while.

Guys, just go to the news page, then to the archive... Then go down to October (21st?) 2004 and there is more info and links there. Admin never misses a trick here

Ah he misses the odd one in fairness, I heard that Damo was interviewed on the Last Broadcast last night. So says Closing_Doors anyway... didn't bother posting it says he. If not then I'll probably have my username changed to gobsh*te or something of its ilk.

I don't think so. I will go so far as to say this though: Closing_Doors does not have a tape of the aformentioned interview, do not send him any pm's asking for it, becuase he'll moan about it, and someone will have to listen to him.
That is all.

He seems to be correct. The Last Broadcast website http://www.rte.ie/tv/thelastbroadcast/ says:
This week on The Last Broadcast Dave has a special feature with Damien Rice on his new album 9, the follow up to his multi-million selling debut "O". But maybe this was just them showing the behind the scenes documentary from the press kit?

Maybe they were, but that would be new... I haven't seen it anywhere. Whatever it was I don't think they repeat The Last Broadcast, so we might have to hope for a youtube appearance or something.

Oh yeah... I forgot about that. I haven't heard anything off 9 yet, and I was worried that it would have songs from it as a backing track. So I figured I'd wait.

Missy Higgins is working on her new album at the moment, she played at the hotel cafe (http://www.hotelcafe.com/calendar_oct06.html) last month testing some songs from her new album. Not sure if there are any collaborations, would be great... I love both artists
