[quote=InspirationDestination;381621]Great for your first show! Thanks for sharing! I loooove him solo, but I think we might get some songs with my bubba in NYC and Philly.

I wish we were getting a different opener (ie. Marketa) since we already saw My Bubba in Nov. Actually, I wish there was no opener and he just plays for a solid 3+ hours!

I would love Marketta! I'm not so into My Bubba. I feel bad for saying that I don't like their hand jive moves and they do a Wendy/Lisa innuendo thing that I find unappealing in female performers. Lots of oldies references here... It's fine if they are actually together (and if they are, what a beautiful couple!), I just don't like if they're pretending to draw in the crowd.

If I get good seats in CO, I'm really looking forward to seeing Iron & Wine.

He had a no bathroom break during songs rule at the Apollo. My neighbors in the 2nd row got up like 4 times, and I was so afraid Damien would get angry. If there are drinks, there will be pee! Human nature!

How was the show for you? I'm happy for you that he played Woman Like a Man!

Awesome show, I'm not crazy about the tabernacle though. The girl that sang with him ran up and tried to jump on stage, it was funny. I thought she did great. Damien asked her if she knew the words and she said "of course, what are we singing?" Damien was in a good mood, didn't seem too annoyed with people getting up to piss, just joked about it and left the stage for a minute. The lights were a neat effect, the sound was great. I miss the band but he's incredible solo. Of course most of y'all already know that! I wish he had venture outside of the box more but I can't complain, I've waited 6 years to see him.

Here are some pics I took, the lighting was not helping much and I was not so close, so most of the ones I took are really blurry. But these ones turned out good

is there a trick to embed videos here? I couldn't do it
anyways..here is the link to IDWTCY. The one for Trusty and true is like 7 mins long so it might take a while for it to upload.

Thank you! I had a blast. I managed to get a front row ticket when they went on sale, so being that close really made it that much sweeter.

My apologies if this is not ok, but does anyone know how Damien's management feels about sharing taped shows? I know I've seen some of his shows popping up on Trader's Den and whatnot. I recorded the show on my phone (audio only, and it's actually decent) and thought I'd share so long as it doesn't violate any forum rules or copyright laws. Some artists allow tapers, so I figured I'd at least ask.

utopia, it's ok to share live shows, we've done it for years and as far as you don't get sell them on ebay, it's all good

Renata, those were great videos. I hope you don't mind, I subscribed to your channel. Where did you sit? I was on the 1st row of the balcony. Didn't even attempt pics or vids with my outdated phone!

I've had a time editing the files and uploading them. Again, it was recorded on a phone, but it sounds pretty damn good to me
