Lisa @ HOB Dallas, Pontiac Room
Anyone been to the HOB Dallas and seen someone in the Pontiac room, it use to be called the Cambridge room? It is the smaller venue inside the HOB, general admission and only holds a maximum of 300 people. I will be in town for work, and wondering if I should go see Lisa there. I just saw her at Martrys in Chicago. That was a very small but nice venue.

I'm going but I've only been to one other show at HOB. I want to say it's the same room, but I'm not for sure. If it is, it's a nice intimate room.

^^ YES GO!! You will love her and she's playing in the smallest room possible at the HOB so it should be very small there as well!

I went and it was amazing! The Pontiac Room was a nice, smaller, intimate room in the back underneath as opposed to the main area in the middle of HOB. Lisa was amazing, and the band really seemed to worship her! She was very polite, very darling. I loved the way she danced to the music on stage!
Also, a band called The Low Anthem opened for her and they were heavenly! I highly recommend them to anyone who likes the Swell Season or Bon Iver. Their mellow stuff was golden. A very diverse three person band where all three play a multitude of instruments. Ben ((lead singer)) also did this neat cell phone to cell phone in the mike whistle distortion at the end of one of the songs. Very talented group! Check them out! |
