Donal Dineen's timeslot has been moved to after midnight.

All he did was play great music.

So pissed off right now.

I do, they're utter sh*te. "You asked for it"??????? NO I f**kING DIDN'T. The guy actually said that he would be playing "the best in chart music", I turned straight off after that.

I would go to the ends of the earth to listen to Donal, but not after midnight. In fact I might just send a complaint to the station, or would there be any point, would they just trash it? Louise?

yes Donal Dineen was the first presenter of 'No Disco', he championed the music of David Gray when no one else would listen to him, he was the first DJ to broadcast on Today FM (Radio Ireland as it then was), and he and Donal Scannell were responsible for The Frames making a video for 'Revelate'.

I think (hope) that if enough people complained it would make a difference. Unless the new person, who is it by the way? HAven't listened, is mega successful. IF they see a huge jump in ratings then they'll obviously stick with who they have but if theres uproar over it from the punters it could make a difference. The radio columnists in all the sunday papers were already slating the change.

Methinks that when I start writing it will become a 1000 word rant on the state of Irish radio and how someone really needs some balls and take the risk of playing decent music during the day. 2FM and Today FM counter programe each other and the only thing they succeed in doing is splitting the audience.

I am, she just played Tongue so I'm happy.

Anyone have a contact e-mail for today fm, can't find one on the website that looks appropriate?
