I love Tim Buckley! People who don't own the Tim Buckley Anthology should be thrown in jail!Goodbye And Hello is one of my favourite albums, with breathtaking songs like Once I Was, Phantasmagoria In Two and I Never Asked To Be Your Mountain... fantastic stuff! And let's not forget about Song To The Siren... possibly the most haunting song ever!!!

Reading it at the moment. I find it a bit annoying the way that he changes from Jeff to Tim in alternate chapters.

I love Tim Buckley as well. The anthology is great, although I think that the song selectionis a bit dodgy. Where is "I never asked to be your mountain", for instance?

Dream Letter, live in London, is a real masterpiece. Just canītbelieve he was merely 21 at the time.

i do agree that everybody that likes jeff should listen to tim if only for comparrison

however although i do think tim was very talented, i find his music a lot harder to listen to than jeff's and not as moving

just my opinion though

The first 3 albums aren't hard to listen to. But an album like Starsailor could well be the most inaccessible album ever made!

I find some of Tim's music almost more moving than Jeff's, though in a different way.

Wayfaring Stranger and Song To The Siren....

I also felt that getting into Tim's music took me a bit more time. But it's been very rewarding.

it's not about time though, i've tried hard to listen to his music for months, but it just happens that after a while i have to turn him off (probably after about an hour of listening) which i don't need to do with jeff's. i still like his music though.
