Angry Such An Expensive Gig?

is it possible? I learnt from a ticket website that Damien's concert in Milan is going to cost 130 euro! I hope it's mistake...

http://www.worldticketshop.com/conce...ien_rice_milan

Other gigs are 3-4 times cheaper. I'm a bit disappointed at the moment.

Is this a very special arena? It does seem too expensive! Maybe it's just an error? Or maybe it's the more expensive tickets who costs that much...

do not worry, if you take a look on the other shows on that site you'll see that all the other EU shows are unexplainably priced around 120 - 130 euros.
I do not know why but it's absolutely not the price you get if you buy tickets elsewhere... German and French gigs cost around 25-35 euros.
The Milan gig as well hasn't gon on sale yet, as you can read in the thread into the GIG area of this forum.
Presale should have started dec 2nd but there are no news about tickets and ticketone, the company that should manage the sale of the tickes, doesn't advertise the show on its site yet. No real price for tickets has been decided yet, so we all have to wait for news about it.
Presumably Milan gig will cost the same than any european one, so it will be sold around 30 euros I think.

Let's see if I can explain it.... My English is not that good.

This thing is also happening in Holland. The tickets are all sold out, but there are companies and who people bought a bunch of tickets, just for this kind of things. Then they ask an idiot high price, so they can make money out of it.

The tickets in Holland cost € 25,- but are for 100,- or more else on sale.

One of the problems, frustrations and idiotery (is that a word?) in the world of music and concerts. Such a pity and so crazy!

Organisators are searching for solutions. Par example it is possible to buy your tickets online, which will send to you by mail, as a barcode, which is hard/simple, not attractive to sell.

I hope you'll understand

It did make sense, Martine. These people who buy up concert tickets and then sell them on for greatly increased prices are called "touts" in English, and most people hate them! I'm sorry that you didn't manage to get a ticket before the touts bought them all up.

Well the problem is that the website which was officially supposed to sell the ticket has not started selling the tickets yet. Ticket should go on sale the 2nd of December. 3 days delay already. I don't know what to expect.

Magical, ticketone sales started yesterday!
In "Gigs" you may look at "milan, conservatorio verdi" thread: we all bought our tickets!
Run, baby, run! "Sala Verdi" has only 1580 seats!!

the site strted selling them yesterday in the late afternoon.
Only few tickets may still be available now because today in the morning3 out of 5 sections of the theater were sold out, only last rows tickets were still on sale...
The thread about Milano gig in the GIG setion af this forum has been constantly updated in these days about news on this show, and the presale actual start was instantly announced there, so many of the ones who wanted tickets have been able to get them thanks to this forum (me too)...
