Default The Swearing Filter

This has been bugging me for a while. I swear a lot, and frankly, I enjoy it. It's a great tool to add new layers of meaning to a sentence and it's great fun. But let's Stephen Fry speak for me:

Do we really need the filter? I mean Damien Rice isn't too family friendly anyway, and some light swearing has no ill effect on any discussion whatsoever. This is a pretty small community of adults, who, I think, can be trusted with not flooding the board with a juvenile tsunami of ****s.

So, can it stop? Pwease?

Agreed.
I will defer to the fabulous Tim Minchin for more on this...

Let's be honest here. You're far more likely to read swear words elsewhere online, or in tv shows, or in books. Occasionally we might vent here but it's done in a fairly tasteful way I think.
