So this is the thing I was talking about last month...the private show in Los Angeles. I was told it was for MBE. But I'm confused as to the way they worded it on the site. It almost makes it sound like he's going to join Jason Bentley in the studio to play live, as opposed to how they described Jenny Lewis - played a set at a studio and they are going to play that set on the air. That's the impression I was under for Damien's secret show last month. I guess we'll see. If it's not for MBE, I don't know what that live recording was for.

NICE. I'm so glad he's giving Nic time. Wasn't Nic one of the first DJs to play him in the US? He has a killer 5-hour morning show on KCSN that absolutely blows KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic out of the water. I hope I can listen to this at work on Monday. Thanks for the heads up!

it is too hard to record it for someone who has never done it and barely has a clue about this stuff.

glo, maybe you could pm me some instructions and i´d try for sure. it still quite early in argentina (4 hours behind), but i´m sure eva will manage to read this message and she definitely will do a much better job than me. we can take my attempt as a backup, perhaps.

According to a tweet Nic posted a few days ago, the session will be at 10.15am LA time, which at 3.15pm my time. I'm not sure if I'll be home but I'll just leave the PC recording.

He seemed about to cry when he sang 'why do you sing with me at all'.

It literally broke my heart a little...

I'm confused. Is tomorrow's show going to be any different from the filmed performance that's already featured on KCRW's website?

This thread sort of drifted from the KCRW show (Morning Becomes Eclectic) to Nic Harcourt's show on KCSN 88.5. So yes, this one airing ~10:15 am (California) will be different. So many interviews, performances and shows. Wahoooo!

I tried to change the thread title but I couldn't

I don't want to start yet another thread about something similar

Here's another new radio session

http://www.wfuv.org/audio/archives/f...-fuv-live-2014

and matt, no, KCRW will air tomorrow on radio the same session that's on their website

ok, I think the secret show he did in LA was actually the WFUV one, right?
same location as the KCRW set, but the WFUV one has an audience...
that's why the KCRW setlist wasn't the one we had

Jesus, this just gets deeper. KCSN, KCRW, and KFUV evidently were all recorded at the Village. I wonder how many more sets he recorded there that day? That's actually a good idea. Do a ton of live sets for radio all in one go, instead of having to travel from place to place.

I love that he admits responsibility now. He really does seem to have grown and learned a lot.
