Default Something old from the Norwegian tv

Can't remember seeing this video before... maybe some of you have, but it's too quiet here anyways, so here you go...

http://youtu.be/SWfiWBrfdtQ

It seems like he doesn't want to be there, and he certainly doesn't want to be interviewed. The video ends rather suddenly.

think it was too early in the morning for him

what I find weird is that he´s chewing gum while singing

Hehe... maybe he was trying to quit smoking at the time. That would explain both the mood he's in and the gum.

this was the week that Lisa left... no wonder that he was a bit pissed off in interviews...

Never saw that before but that might be the best version of "9 Crimes" I've heard. I also don't think he was that ornery. He laughed quite a few times during the course of things but I'm guessing the jet lag for Norway on top of it being a morning show would wipe out most anyone. Also, man how amazing is it to see him playing with the old backup band again? Forgot how much I missed seeing the gang all around him. Jesus, were they gooooooooooood.

Spamlet, I totally agree with you
I really miss the band, it's like a teenage times nostalgy and I love the guitar version of that song

Really?
I'm actually not that fond of the guitar version of nine crimes.
The piano seems to add more depth to the song. This is also one of the only songs where I really miss Lisa's voice.
He seems to be in the right mood for Coconut skins, though.

and without lisa, he's more angstry but less sorrow. She's the one who "fill my sorrow" for him (of course it's just my feeling). Beside the "new stuff", the only "old stuff" still does to me is Elephant

I love Elephant. Never heard a bad version of that song.
But I still don't get how you can dislike the guitar so much and still love Damien's music, though.

music for me: emotion>voice>lyrics>instrument

i don't hate guitar, just tired of the sound. Too little band play without guitar
i like plenty of pianist, cellist, violinist but the only guitalist does for me is calos santana

I understand
For me, it's more how all those things work together, I think.
