My take on it...
I think this is such an upbeat song compared to all the intense sadness and anger and whatever else damien has expressed through his music. If you're not working towards something you're basically wasting time. This just puts you in a situation in which your always doing something but not necessarilly being yourself and actually enjoying life. And then in the chorus he's basically saying to screw it all,to put it all asside, our innhibitions and concerns, next time somebody asks you "tell them we've been hanging out and wasting time," you don't need to feel bad about it or worry about anything. Makes me think that's the reason for the line about God dropping by to relieve doubt. This my interpretation... thoughts about it i guess. (i might be waaaay off though! )

knowing damien, you should assume all unknown songs are about his penis

And we've been hanging out" skins in plural? Maybe there are more penises involved I don't know what he means by cooking them but it sounds like great pain.

This one still puzzles me, i get the meaning of wasting time but why licking coconut skins, is that an original damien concept... i wasn't sure if maybe it's a well know foreign slang term or something?
And coconuts don't even really have skins do they, just shells, and they can't be comfortable to lick, the thought always makes my mouth feel dry |

I like to think the licking coconut skins part means going to a tropical location. And doing something that really doesnt make any sense. Just lick coconut skins because you can; instead of working hard or arguing or whatever pisses you off. Coconut skins for me is whatever it is that you do as your release.
