Im so ANNOYED!
Im not allowed to go to the concert!!!!
ive been pretty sick all week, but im fine now, and my parents turn around and tell me im not allowed to go. Im just in shock, I worked so hard to get the tickets(as they were sold out had to make a few phonecalls!)I even managed to switch them from sat to fri and then back to sat(which i feel ridiculously bad and ungrateful about)
never, NEVER in my life have i been told i simply just cant do something, they always discuss it with me, and let me go on certain conditions, but theyre being so irrational.

sorry that was a bit of a ramble but i feel like moaning!

wow, great gig last night, 100 times better than the last time i saw them in the Olympia! im lovin' Monkey 61, gets better everytime i hear it. cant wait for the new album, from the new songs they've played, it looks like its gonna be special.

but yep, damo was there last night, up in a balcony to the right of the stage. god he was givin' it loads during Alphabet Soup, looked like he was havin' a good time! lisa was up there too, doing a bit of dancin' to Snakes and Snakes, was just kinda funny to see

i wasnt really impressed with Ben Christopher, he just didnt do it for me, they should have had him as the first support act.

as for Lisa and the Daisy Okell band, yeh they were good, just not my kinda music, jazzy and bluesy stuff....but all in all, a fantastic night!

I know its an unfavourable cli-ché, but parents (the sane ones!) generally do know best - they've lived far longer and have experienced much more and just know more. Sounds like they were trying to make sure your health was priority, and didn't want you to risk staying sick or getting sicker! And it sounds like they made the right choice!

But TRUST me - Bell X1 will be back in September/October to tour the new album! It aint that far away. And its totally worth the short wait!

I went to the Olympia last night and it was SOOO good! The third album is sounding fantastic!!

oh my god. Killian i now understand why you didnt enjoy the december gig...there was this group of three girls near me and they were so LOUD. They clearly weren't interested in the bellies, i had no idea why they bothered coming and to be honest they were just taking up tickets from a sold out gig...they just wouldnt shut up. During "ill see your heart..." (which was really quiet and sweet) one of them goes, really loud, "I HATE THIS SONG!!!" everyone around us asked them to shut up (politely, mind) and they got really nasty and basically told us to move if we didnt like it.

Bellx1 were GREAT though! cant wait for flock
