total newbie!

hi everyone,

this is my first post. i'm a newbie here, and a fairly new damien rice fan. my name is megan and i live in new mexico, usa. i spent 2 weeks in ireland last month and have a friend that is a damien rice fan. i bought 'o' this week and absolutely love it.

a little about me... i'm a student, a singer/songwriter, and a horseback rider.

one question.. why does enter/return cause you to skip a line when you are typing? is there a way for me to change that?

ummmm... i think you're stuck with the line space, but it makes it nice and easy to read. it's one of our querky features... this one can be known as our alba-querky feature... [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]

yeah...I'm a big fan of Derek and Caedmon's. I've never seen'em live though, always seem to miss'em. I doubt that anyone on this site would know who they are...and boy would I love to be wrong.

that doesn't look like a cowboy to me. if it is, it is a YUPPIE COWBOY (i think you irish know what yuppie is). he looks aussie to me. hahah.

kavu- i have been following caedmons and derek for like 10 years. [img]smileys/smiley3.gif[/img]believe it or not, i sang on one of their cds (not a major release. it is a guild cd). i'm not sure how the band is going to be live now that derek has gone solo, but i will be seeing them in november. it used to be an incredible live show. derek is still amazing, though. if you get the chance, definitely see him live. hey, you ought to meander over to www.caedmonscall.net - a site just like this only for caedmon's. i co-run it. yes, i am a nerd!
