Default why "sex change"?

does anyone know why "sex change" is so named? I absolutely love it and can't get it out of my head. but i don't understand the name.

And does anyone know when it originated?

It was originally a juniper song called "Walking Out" and that's also basically the reason it was re-named "sex change". He's the one who's being walked out on rather than it being the male who traditionally dumps the female and leaves her feeling so vulnerable and worthless.

It was never called Walking Out, some mp3s were merely mislabelled.

I would love to see some of the old Juniper stuff that Damien plays land on a studio album of his.

Volcano, Me, My Yoke and I, Eskimo, Cross-Eyed Bear (Then called Jewelery Box), Woman Like A Man, Amie (Then called Spaceship), I Remember (Then called I Remember December) are all old Juniper songs.

oh yeah of course - it's just what you said implied that a juniper song had never ended up on a damien solo album, so I just thought I'd let you know.

Hi all,

In the lyrics section, this amazing song is quoted like: "I need a new Yesterday.", but I keep hearing "I needed you yesterday".

Does this make any sense??

I also prefer "I needed you"
Btw, is the chord progression similar to Eskimo? Or am I getting it all wrong?
