ok i know i already started a thread on them and the killers but having just got the album through the post this morning and having listened to it all day i thought they deserve a thread of their own!!!

this album is brilliant, all the tracks i remember from the gig and they are just as good recorded as they were amazing live!!! i can't recommend these guys enough (although i'm fully aware they might not be everyone's cup of tea )

I think I saw them yesterday on BBC - an acoustic/gospel thing with a guy on guitar and 6 gospel singers. Really cool!

But what do they normally sound like?

Niamh I watched them doing an accoustic yesterday-one guy (I thought there was two) and gospel singers. Think the song was Golden Touch but it was great.

What's their album called? Do you've any background info on them?

Ooh I think I'll get it.

Is Golden Touch on the album? It was just Borrell doing the accoustic yesterday. With straightened hair-to quote Una lurvely!

14 euro's not bad at all. Buy Music in Mouth. Neither am I is great too although the version of Volcano is weird but Damien plays accoustic guitar on one of the songs.

The song with the gospel singers was SO good on BBC. I'll really be trying to check them out soon. It was a real "shiver down your spine" moment watching that. I'm thoroughly impressed.
