Flip flops! [warning: VERY random thread]

It's been a while since we had this kind of random girlie thread about accessories and stuff so i thought i'd make one about my flip flops cause i've really grown very fond of these things, you can really use them for anything!

i scanned my three pairs (yeah i know - this is RIDICULOUSLY random..):

they have all been really cheap but i love them just the same

mine are fantastic, i bought them in penney's (a really cheap clothes shop in ireland) for three euros and i wore them almost every day when on holiday. they eventually molded to fit my feet and they have become a part of me. best thing is they look exactly like roxy ones but they cost a tenth of the price!

I love Pennies!!! We have a dunnes in Fuengirola to!!! I just wear good old slippers from Dunnes lol!! I think your shoes are cool Soda!!

Yeah, we have a little two floor one in the centre of fungirola, and then a huge one floor one on the outskirts of Fuengirola, abot 5miles from each other! their pretty big out here, exspecially with the Spanish, and of course the Irish people out here!!

i think it's my duty to represent the anti-flip flop consortium. how else would i be able to show my face at the annual meeting...

i don't have anything against flip flop wearers, but summer always bothers me because you hear that telltale flapping noise wherever you go. one of my friends got married and wore flip flops and you can hear them on the wedding video!

i'm a hardcore shoe wearer, myself. and i don't wear shorts, so it's seldom an issue.

did i miss the annual meeting?

i'm with samuelle down with flip-flops! they're not comfortable at all and i hate shoes that go between your toes.. i tend to go barefoot at every possible opportunity in the summer otherwise i favor these suede kind of birkenstocky sandals or moccasins (mmm moccasins)

what i never realized was there was such a strong anti-shorts sentiment, i mean if its hot its miserable to wear pants though personally i prefer skirts or sundresses, you get nice breezes you don't get with shorts

i also have quite a personal problem with flip flops... having a slight phobia of feet adds to this

also i think men wearing flip flops is just wrong.. especially with overcut jeans

I love flip flops on guys...well, as long as their feet look nice

I wear flip flops a lot...around the house and to the beach...I don't know the name brands...they are usually cheap..but I do have a pair of silver Roxy's that I love...

We call them thongs here and they are quite poular. I have some myself which I usually wear in Summer as it can get pretty hot.

Ooh i must say im a flipflop nut at the moment. Last year i had about 2 pairs and they weren't so hot but i took a slight fit this year and bought loads and loads and loads. I get cold feet though, so they ain't always a good idea but i love wearing them on a night out. Everyone around you who are wearing sandals are falling all over the show (not always due to drunkeness!) and teetering - or is it tittering - along in their heels, but with flipflops you can just slide along anywhere and remain quite graceful looking. Not so hot when your feet get squished and stood on though!!
