Guys I doubt TnT want to read one of our rambling threads... just name your favs and leave the rest to the pros
That's very sweet - thanks for your consideration, but we DO actually appreciate all the ramblings. Keep them coming. And on a separate note: we are in the process of putting together a mailing list (something else we had spaced out on on the night), so anyone who wants to get news about the CD, future gigs, etc, either post your email address here or send it to childrenofbam@airpost.net. Feel free to spread the info to anybody you think might also want to be on that list, but might not read this. Tomo and Tanja |

Cheers TnT!! Nice to know you value our opinions! (and ramblings!)
Please, please try your best to make a 2CD gig! If not i agree with #Ian#'s post earlier about the order, and what gets dropped. This may be rediculous, but would it be feasible to produce a limitied edition double CD, for those who really want the whole gig. And then the majority of production would be of the edited version? I dont know anything about the costs of doing that kind of thing, but that would keep everyone happy. obviously the limited edition would cost more. And would generate that bit more cash, while avoiding the higher cost of mass producing a double cd. ....Just a thought also, my email address is daol20"at"hotmail.com w.r.t the mailing list. Thanks, Daragh. </font>Edited by: daol20

or if its not too much trouble you could set up a system whereby a single CD was mass produced and available in the shops, but the whole concert was available on Four or Five CD's (or something to that effect), and could be gotten by mail order or something, just a suggestion, it would satisfy the public and the fans alike.
Just a far out idea for trying to achieve a happy medium, But i would ideally like a 2CD set comprised of about 3 to 5 songs from each set...

sounds like the first two acts werent loved by everyone...maybe just one or two of the best songs from those...but i think that the entire show other than that should make the CD.. so i agree with two discs DEFINITELY, that would be amazing, i want to hear all of it

SEE! Double CD would be great, in fact, despite what I said about the Walls and Tycho Brahe if you released the entire gig I would buy it if it meant I got the entire performances from the people I did like.

Tanja & Tomo, are Damien & The Band in favour of putting both 'Nine Crimes' AND 'The Blower's Daughter Part II' on the album... or whats the view to putting either of them on there... Eh?

There has been a problem with our airpost account (fixed now, I hope) and it erased our mailing list. Really sorry about this, but could you all send your email address again to childrenofbam@airpost.net? Thanks. Tanja and Tomo

Firstly thanks Tanja & Tomo for organising such a wonderful night for such a worthy cause!!! It was excellent! It would be really cool if all the songs were on a cd, but failing that, i would include love hurts, come together, sugar in my bowl, that bob dylan song Lisa sang, the last song 'I went down the river'?, the girl is mine, and a couple other Damo and bell x1 songs!! thanks again 4 a quality gig!! |

I'm with you guys on the whole Paul/Dave set, including 'The Girl is Mine' of course! And would really love to see Nine Crimes and the RHCP doing Bohemian Raphsody (spelt wrong) on it aswell.

Well if you're going to put together a 2 CD then how about using the video footage that Damien shot on his video camera? Perhaps even a cd/dvd set like the new o? It was well worth flying over from the UK for. I had a great time, if you can get clearence then the covers of the night were breathtaking - from Come Together to The Girl is mine. I doubt Jackson would let the add lib in the middle through though ("actually, I've seen her, and I wouldn't touch her with yours"), but there was a lot of very spirited music there. and the more people that could hear it the better. Blowers daugher pt2 rocked (even with the audience participation), esp with the extra lyrics. Almost forgot about the homage to Eve, the apple of my eye, during Blowers Daughter. The River Song was cool, very moving - I can't see how you could leave it off! How about putting together a booklet too with pictures? <happy memories of vicar st>Edited by: JamesD

Just out of curiosity, is the album going to be on sale in the North? Didn't get to it, but I'd love to hear some of it.

I keep forgetting that the Bellies are in a few weeks. Keep thinking its ages away yet. I'd want to get a move on. Im expecting there to be tickets available close to the date. Although its whenever i do expect that, that i get stung without. But the alternative would be to buy a ticket well in advance and then months later, end up hearing there's a better gig on the same night.
