Yeah, i have an interview with her... she, strangely enough, sounds like a irish woman in her mid twenties... rather unexpected really.

"I think you mean either 'hint of sarcasm' or 'note the sarcasm'. Anyway i'm not sure that that rule is meant to exclude the kind of information that might appear in a one page wikipedia biography like where the band grew up or used to live, i think it's perhaps better suited to information of a more sensitive nature, y'know personal stuff like families, illnesses, relationships, phone numbers and stuff.

Lots of people are pretty sour about that whole debate there, it's best not to bring it up again, it just gets tangled up in these big ethical discussions and everyone gets very píssed off."

Bumpman, thank you for correcting my grammatical errors. I mean this is an internet forum and I suppose I should type more correctly. Thank you for being my English teacher, I really took your advice to heart. Anyway, instead of brining up something completely irrelevant such as a grammatical error in your case, I am going to stick to the argument. You say that you are "not sure that the rule is meant to exclude the king of information that might appear in a one page wikipedia biography...". Well, because you are "not sure" it is probably best to avoid continuing this thread. If so many people are "sour" about it, dont give members like me a chance to even create an argument. I mean I just find it strange that those who attack new members for asking simple questions about the band will create threads that ask almost identical questions. But hey, we live in a world of hypocrisy and thank you, Bumpman, for contributing to that. Oh yeah... notice my *hint OF sarcasm (thanks for the tip)
Peace Out

I've got a recording of a show in which she (at least I think it's Lisa - it could be Vyvian) says that Damien "cried like a little girl" while doing a parachute jump in France, but that's the only time I've heard her talk. I've heard her sing a fair bit, mind...

Hate to bump this thread to the top, but I've added some of the information collected from here (and numerous other threads!) to Lisa Hannigan's Wikipedia Page, which before was a very poorly written and poorly spelled brief page.

Cheers. It needs formatting so it's no longer a stub. I'm going to do the other band members this weekend. I was quite shocked Viv didn't have one!

Here's a couple more of Lisa with the ribbons....these are from the Vicar Street/Oxfam/Make Trade Fair gig in March or April I think of 2003...

I THINK they were brought out for Cannonball if my memory serves me correctly.

She also played drums for Seven Nation Army with Vyvienne Long at Vyv's first solo gig at Mother Rednaps

When you do get round to doing Vyv's page, make sure you spell her name right
