I have finally managed to connect
to your ftp "aeneas3" but when i did, i couldnt see any files or
folders to download. I searched the help, on SmartFTP and the only
thing it suggested was to unclick all the view options boxes in the
"Tools" -> "Options" section.

Is there something up with you server at the moment? Or is this something im doing wrong, or some setting i've set wrong?

anyway, i just connected and it worked fine. are u using the the-remedy/fast login b/c that is open now

i get these folders on login

that should work

u could always add the /server to your jyiii.antsmarching.org -> jyiii.antsmarching.org/server as that may work

i have a feeling that your problems are due to some firewall issue or some other strangeness

have u tried direct connect? it rocks.

Thanks so much for your log-in. I just stumbled across this Board earlier today, and I am excited to help my Damien collection grow. Just one thing - are there any tricks to getting a faster connection to your server? I attempted to grab some things just a little bit ago, and it timed out on me after speeds of only 1 or 2 k/s. Kind of slow . . . Should I have an active or passive connection, for example? Is Fast or The-Remedy faster?

Ok, now i can see folders on the
left, but when i click on each folder i'm not seeing any files in them.
Really strange. I've found the software executables at the root. But no
files. IM gonna try tweak my filewall, and mess around with the
settings in SmartFtp and see what happens!

The folders i can see are:

"server

server2

siteop

tools"

I added /server to the address and that let me in.

I can now see folders of artist on the laft. But when i try to open them im getting these errors in the log:

250 "/server" is current directory.

mean to keep going on about it. But heres the image of my screen. As
you can see all the folders on the left have red circles
indicating access denied. Maybe the problem is something at your end??
