Unhappy A hopeless investigation begun

Righteous little witch
I didn't dig that hole.
(excised) Down in the same ditch
You're running from ________
Make me hot _______ me cold
Did it make you feel clever?
Do you quiver for a crown?
And if you pull a little begger
You might blow yourself down.

*sigh* Oh, I know, my friends: I'm sorta defining irony. I absolutely shouldn't but I can't control myself!

Sound familiar?

To empathize with poor lil' sleep deprived Damo "....Fruitcake?".

Righteous little witch
I didn't dig that hole
down in the same ditch (replaced by 'your running past...')
make me hot, me cold
did it make you feel clever
do you quiver for a crown
and if you puff a little
you might blow your...

But what is your question?

Wheels,

You da mang.

My question was "sound familiar?"

I was being intentionally vague as sort of a test to see if anyone else was as obsessive as I to have tried deciphering it. Now I know at least one other is.

I knew "pull" couldn't be right but in my 40-hours-without-sleep- deprived-state the obvious hadn't occurred!

Is it beggar? Still doesn't quite fit but better than anything else I auditioned (better, bigger, bugger etc.)

So I'll officially ask this now: have you actually heard or only seen that?

Ah, now I realise... those lyrics. I was wondering what was written but... I guess I'm not that obsessive enough to decipher them. Interesting, though.

That's why I said "I'm defining irony". The voice-over during that section is all about how Damo likes to keep the lyrics as private as possible.

Sadly, we don't know yet! It was just the beginnings of some lyrics on the page that he and Lisa were trying to work out the rhythm of together. Let's hope it was eventually finished. I adore Damo's angrier stuff.

Thanks for explaining - Wooh, hadn't even been watching the EPK before cause I'd been waiting for the album before I'd listen to any album songs, nice stuff. Now I wish they'd make a longer docu out of this.
