Anyone else think Damien is in all this just to get the ladies?

Well the fact some of his music is about problems with ladies, i'm thinking that a few women might give him a sympathy (sp?) vote. The thing is though being a hetresexual man I wouldn't know what its like to be seduced by a man ( nor would i like to know!!!) I can imagine though for a guy to sing "I can't take my eyes off you" is a fairly romantic beautiful gesture that some people would fall for. Damo's music kinda has that affect on some people

No-- musicians have that effect on women. It's unofficially called the "groupie effect" lol. Puta guitar in some previously unnoticed guy's hands and he suddenly becomes a desireable, sexy godlike creature. I've seen it happen countless times and fallen victim to it myself.

And yes, based on informal surveys and controlled clinical observations I've conducted myself, most musicians are in it for the "ladies". ...tho not all I'm sure, and some musicians are women so... hey do ya think they're in it for the"gentlemen"? Edited by: SisterMidnight

i agree.. maybe now he's happy for this effect but i dont think it was his first intention.. his lyrics are "felt" , "lived".. and this is just the reason why i adore him!

I completely agree with the the "boy with a guitar" syndrome which is my own term for it, but no...i fell for Damien himself. It's not simply a guitar, it's a boy who can pour his heart out, feel pain, talk about emotions. I honestly don't think Damiens in it for the ladies, but i'm sure he likes it to an extent...that's human nature.

Aren't most musicians in it for the women anyone?? Even when some actors are interviewed they say they want to be musicians because they get all the girls. I think that he sings sad song..great one's at that..and women tend to say "aww he is so in touch with himself". Who knows...great music though.

cheers
