- the best MFFF is the one he did on the radio for that Dermont show
- Bastard, the one from Berlin with the Somewhere line
- Change You, always better without strings, solo guitar
- The Box, not that crazy about the Iceland version, too much going on
- Trusty & True, with audience instead of a choir. Don´t like that the choir always sings the same as him, I prefer with the audience singing something different from what he´s singing
- Colour Me In, the Guardian session

- Rootless Tree from Whelans, with the "it´s hell when I´m around" part

'cause a new album means we get to hear new songs, there's a new tour, a vinyl record, interviews and so on

except for the songs on 9, I find that I always come back the studio versions somehow. Listening to the albums, especially O often brings me stronger emotion, which the live version can't. maybe mostly because of the cello I think.

he made some big productions mistakes x 9... especially Accidental Babies, Rootless Tree,... that´s why the live versions always sound better

I tend to prefer live versions of every song from the new album. I don't know why, but I feel that the emotion got somehow lost with to much production on the album.

The 'Trusty and true' version from Michelberger Lobby is a really good one :
