I love the jacket that the safe traveller is wearing.

I realize that maybe Jack in the Box doesn't exist (or does it?) in Ireland, but all can think of is those stupid US Jack in the Box Man commercials...

That said, it's artsy in a way that I like, and the song is one of my favourite ones in the record.

^I don't like the lyrics

I'd personally have replaces Safe Travels with Flowers

i´m not crazy about the song either and i think the lyrics are just meh! but i like the story behind it and, therefore, i think it´s a sweet song. i appreciate it because of that.

Eh, I think 'Safe Travels' fits nicely at the end.

For me, I'd take out 'O Sleep' and 'What'll I Do' and put 'Flowers' and 'Oh Undone' in their place. I always skip those two. (Though 'What'll I Do' would work as a single)

'Flowers' is far and away the best song off the album, and it's not even on the standard version :\

Really? I like that there's this quiet anger to the song. It's not really a feeling any of her other songs have so it's a nice change of pace for me.

It's also the one of the only new songs where she like, fully enunciates. She's been doing this Newsom-y thing to her words... curling them is the only way I can think of to describe the way it sounds. Makes it hard to understand her sometimes.

After hearing Flowers for the first time live, I was so disappointed to hear the "album" version. I don't really think it can compare.

That said, I oddly like the Safe Travels video, though it wasn't what I was expecting.

Lucy Wilkins is definitely the MVP of the album for me and the violin on 'Flowers' is such highlight.

actually I think she should 'add' instead of 'replace'... I mean, why she has to do a 10-song album... she could have done a 12-song album perfectly by adding those 2 other songs...

it's the same with album 1... she had recorded Blurry & Pirate Disco so she could have fitted them in the album perfectly making a 12-song album

What's up with throwing out pirate disco? It's one of her best songs imo.
