Just wondered if anyone else thought that the line 'Why'd you sing "Hallelujah"/If it means nothing to ya?" in Delicate might be a referral to the famous Jeff Buckley song of the same name? Damien is often compared to Jeff, after all...

Yes, it is. Damien sings Jeff's version who was singing John Cale's version who was covering Leonard Cohen's version.

I presume its some sort of a reference , how can damien be comparedto jeff annoys me , he is influenced sure but doesnt sound nything like him , acoustic guitar , cello , violin , female singer ? yeah sounds real jeff buckley alright

They are comparing the feeling you get when you listen to them Rob. I like them both because the way i feel when i hear them. So i say they are comparable.
