new Sara Lov album, all covers, so not very very exciting... but there's a couple of decent ones...
Square heart and the album jewel, a cover of the Smiths classic...

There's something similar to your voices. I sometimes still listen to songs from your unreleased album - there's a lot of promise in there!

My coworker asked me to check out this local band that her daughter's boyfriend is in. I didn't know there were buskers in Macon, Ga. Nice!

^yeah the picnic really needs good weather to be overall a good atmosphere!
*Supposedly Arcade fire to headline the sunday this year and they are including day tickets for it.. Such a bad idea and bad organising. The festival died for me in 2007, they keep ruining it more and more each year. Not quite sure i love this yet, but i overly commend it for being fresh and actually sounding like new music..

For the first time in ages I actually have really warm feelings towards a Danish band. Saw Hymns from Nineveh last night - beautiful! The singer has an amazing voice and a big smiling beardyface.

"Can You Stand Upon One Leg" because he wrote it for his daughter, and "I Like" because he ended up re-writing a bunch of the lyrics once he started dating his girlfriend -- one of my favorite musicians, Cathy Davey. Speaking of which, have you heard the song "Cathy", a collaboration with Rodrigo Leao? I've got a few boots from Neil Hannon's UK tours last year, and I'm just dying to see him live. He puts on such a fun show! |
