^^I don't get that... in Seattle I saw The Frames and they played until 12:30? 12:45? It was almost 1 am when they stopped and apparently things are supposed to end there by midnight concert wise? I don't know... it was awesome though.. what's with these silly laws? It's Ireland for crying out loud... aren't they supposed to be the ones that play music all through the night and drink beer till the sun comes up?

Exactly.. Our licensing laws are ridiculous.. Off licenses close at 10pm (sometimes before its even dark in the summer!) And alot of venues have curfew's of midnight or 12:30pm (alot of travelling bands have been fined for going over this...?)
The latest any nightclub/theatre anything can open to now is 2:30am, and after 11pm any pub or venue needs a late license in order to avoid being fined.. Yep, its that ridiculous!

In a country thats main ethics is drinking, they wont even let us do that in peace

It seems to me like there could be an official one, but maybe im getting my hopes up too much there!
Id say the Frames messageboard is the best place to find it.. Let me know if you find it too, love to listen back without the stream problem interruptions!

Class gig...

Posted on their twitter after the show....

Thank you for participating in our great big experiment to stream the 10th Anniversary of 'For The Birds' tonight... We had a few teething problems during the night but we're very appreciative to everyone who stuck it out and managed to get connected. One thing is clear to us... There is a huge demand for listening to The Frames live... =) We would really appreciate any feedback you have on tonight's stream (positive or negative) so we can identify where to focus our energies for next time...
Sounds like it might be occurring more often in the near future... I'll be marking my calendar like I do for sports! haha! I really hope so! And I really hope they do release a professional one of their own cause I'd be more than happy to pay for it! Glen and the boys are nothing but class. It was brilliant and I only heard half of it!

Also, video's are starting to turn up on youtube from the night. here's one of a handful. just search The Frames vicar street and organize by upload date.. i'm sure u all know the routine.

Mic Saves the night once again with his brilliant Heyday (especially after reading that review. I enjoyed the story he read though. I found it entertaining haha.)
