anyway, my dad's from iran. it's a cool place, it's a bit behind the times, but i doubt bomb raids would help anything.
And the leader is making a stuborn stand of defiance, simply because he feels it is being imposed on him. I personally don't like him. There's allot of poor people in iran, and when they have to vote, they go to their priest and ask "who does allah want me to vote for?".

reminds me of some western election campagns "tony bla-bla-bla goes to church! we have to vote for him!"

Either way, iran is a beautiful place, and it will improve with time. Some nations should try cleansing themselves before attacking everyone else.

wiping israel off the map, doesn't mean bombing it. Remember that he doesn't speak english, so what he says is translated to the benifit of the individual story. He thinks that the state of Israel was illeagally created and in itsplace palestine should exist. and subsiquently he says that israel should not be in the map.

and the "Harm and pain" is taken out of context. he was talking about how the US was threatening to put Harm and Pain on Iran, and how iran will defend and retaliate with the same force, hence "harm and pain".

it's called spin, and it drives me crazy. (my dad understands iranian, so his translations are more reliable)

a number of businesses and governments, i never said they didn't. And i never condoned any bombings, i was just saying beware of what the news tells u.

irans clerics have long been open about its desire to get rid of israel. one of the favorites ive seen many times from different leaders is that one nuke will get rid of israel but any retaliation will not get rid of islam. the leader of iran right now belongs to a group that believes it is coming up on end times. he has stated that he is to be the one who will bring it about...by creating a world full of chaos....what do you think he means by this? by politely asking israel to change its name to palestine? christ in 50 yrs islamic countries have started what?.... 3 major wars and since unable to win 'legitimately' have funded suicide bombings too.

The leader is a dick, but if u go to war with iran u ruin the livelyhoods of most of it's occupants, including half my relatives and their families. One day people are just gonna wipe themselves out, i tell thee. There's no simple answer, except to chill.

"death to israel" and "death to america" comes to you as horror but if you understand islam it is not meaning kill people in israel and america, it means ideals. Too long to go in towards but likely people who chant are peace loving people.

Anyway, have people percieved toward iranian cinema. It is better than anything else anywhere

After all Hilter burnt the governemtn buildings in his country to take power, used those "Terrorist attacks" as a pretext for gaining control of the people and his country... Sort of like the Bush administration uses 9/11 as a pretext for every single thing they do. I think the western world needs to mind its own business. Deal with its own problems.

Oh and Isreal started most of the wars in the mideast. Remember the 6day war? I dont think the islamics would have SUCH a big problem with them if they didnt massacure a whole lot people back then, and take over every country in its path. They even attacked and tried to sink an US ship during that war.

Somthing aint right with the mideast, and we are not goign to fix it. Nation building doesnt help. Let them deal with there own problems. Constant western intervention creats terrorism.

Its strange i was just recently thinking about this comparison and here it is....

Firstly i dont think Hitler, Bin Laden or Bush is ''evil''. I only think their actions were appauling.But the fact is they were/are men with cast iron beliefs, nothing more. Hitler really believed killing millions of people was the right thing to do. What he did was the worst single act possibly in human history. I'm still in school so I'm reading and learning all these things for the first time, and what shocked me, or used to shock me, was that a whole, intelligent country was swept up in the anti-semitism of Hitler and the Nazis. But look at todays world.....

I really think we are at a 'here we go again' point in history. Take Bush; clearly not pure evil. He has strong beliefs that he lives by. And I am by no means comparing his actions to the actions of Hitler. I havent even decided what i really think of him as a person and a leader yet.Even the ''War on Terror'' i havent really made my mind up on because I'm not sure if he really believed the WMD story or if it was all about oil.... maybe its somewhere in between. What i have a BIG problem with is the camp X-Ray issue.


I looked at the concentration camps of Germany and wondered ''how could it have happened?''. Look at camp X-ray (or whatever the new camps are called). Prisoners being held without trial, charged with nothing, tortured daily. And the things they are doing to prisoners there are defined as torture. They are Interrogated in this was for months, years (YEARS!!) on end, and still no change. How is this justified? Easily. They are ''evil men''. They are ''the worst of the worst''.

The Jews were evil men in Nazi Germany. They were responsible for Germany losing WWI. They corrupted German society. Are you starting to see a parallel?

Of course there will be no concentration camps for Muslims in America. No liquidation the Islamic population. But what they are doing is the worst they can get away with in todays modern society.And that above all else is why i have a problem. Murderers or not what the Americans are doing there is wrong.Very very wrong. And this is supposed to solve the terrorism problem?


Thats just what i think anyway.

In Ireland Protestant and Catholic people have been killing each other for years in Northern Ireland. Catholics did terrible things. Murder. Bombings. And the reaction of the British Government did two things; It made the men that were punished heroes, and made people hate the British. People wonder why some people hate America.
