this morning i came as usual to my office to work on my thesis (it's sunday, so not that happy thing....) , i switched on my computer and i found an email of my ex-boyfriend telling he miss me a lot......to know that the person you are still in love with even if you are far and not together anymore is still thinking to you and still loving u....well i think this can make a person smile and be happy even if u know that this is not enough in order to have a future with this person......

uhm....yea my signature is dedicated do this person....

There you go

another thing that made me smile was that my 'u' is starting to work (sporadically) again. that's a start at least...

i don't know. i just know that the 'u' on my keyboard wasn't working for a while. the 't' and the 'u' stopped working at the same time, the 't' started to work a while ago again but the 'u' didn't... bt now it does - sometimes as you can see...

Don't worry, even some Chicagoians do not know that. I've come across a few and have yet to come across someone who doesn't live here that actually knows the real reason behind the term.

and Yanka is correct:

The story you will commonly find is that it dates to shortly before the great World’s Columbian Exhibition of 1893. Chicago was putting forward its claim with great verve and bombast. This really got up the nose of people in New York, which was competing with Chicago to host the exhibition. Animosity became so bad that Charles A Dana, editor of the New York Sun, wrote an editorial telling New Yorkers to pay no attention to the “nonsensical claims of that windy city. Its people could not hold a world’s fair even if they won it”. The history books tell us that Chicago did win it and did hold it (and even made a profit from it). Books also tell us that the nickname of Windy City dates from that editorial.

My dog use to do something like that a little Bichon Friess. he had bad hearing as he was getting old and so you would call him, he'd stop, look at you so you knew he heard you. then turn and walk in the opposite direction. (the lil b always did it when there were heaps of people in the room as well)
