Jeweller at next EF gig petition!!!

I was treated to a very specialprivate performance from our own Simon (aka Jeweller/Si) the other night and we have a hidden talent in our midst!! [img]smileys/smiley32.gif[/img]However, though he has a beautiful voice and plays lovely guitar the lad states that he's too shy to play publicly. [img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img]I would like to start a petition for all you other EF's that would like to hearSimonperform at the next free Eskimo gig-- SIGN UP!! [img]smileys/smiley4.gif[/img]So much talent here in our little igloo..... let there be music and singing and the making of joyful noises..... [img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

Once again, why are all of you Irish/British/Scottish boys soooo shy??? Is it a cultural thing? Or am I just used to brazen and bold American men? A friend visited once from England when I was younger and thought the American guys were very forward and almost rude.

We're just used to that over here, I guess.

an american living in denmark once wrote that the danes are hard to get to know (and i do believe we are even harder to get to know that irish/english/scottish ppl, but that is of course a terribly ignorant generalisation), but once you know them they are better friends than americans are - you get closer to them than you can get to americans over time. i don't know, though - i always feel a little bad about generalisations like that. after all, maybe this only had to do with a few experiences this person has had [img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]
