I made the mistake of thinking he was Emmett Till, the chap who was brutally lynched in a region of Mississippi known as the Mississippi Delta near the small town of Drew in Sunflower County. Whose murder was one of the key events that energised the nascent American Civil Rights Movement. Then I thought better of it... and I can't figure out if Rovena's being sarcastic or not... Hoisted by my own petard.

I do remember the thread where everyone uploaded a picture of themselves... the resemblance is frightening. Apparently Mr. Emmett came to Warsaw from Carlton and conducted a series of revival meetings in the old Baptist church, he was given a call to become pastor of the church and April 1st 1887 he assumed those duties. It was through his efforts that the new Baptist Church was built in 1889, which remains a lasting monument to his memory. The picture probably comes from a stained glass window proclaiming to all the faithful that Mr. Emmett truly is... fabulous.
