I know the majority of people here are into bands, and rock/indie style music, as am I, but I was just curious to see if any of you like Dance music. I grew up listening to House music, and made have only been listening to Rock/Indie music in the last 4 years, or so. I still listen to House every now and then, and only today found myDeep Dish "Moscow (GlobalUnderground)" cd that has been missing for ages. I havent stopped listening to it all day! Some of my favourites include: Deep Dish, Sasha& Digweed, Felix Da Housecat, CJ Bolland, DJ Tomcraft, Groove Armada, Tim Deluxe, Sander Kleinenberg, Seb Fontaine, Timo Maas.........etc etc Are there any other House/Dance music loving Eskimo's in the igloo?? 2 Many DJ's - great album! I've always liked lots of different kinds of music. I don't really listen to much dancey stuff anymore, but I used to be quite into drum & bass: True Playaz (DJ Zinc) and Super Sharp Shooter (DJ Hype) are great tunes! Although I still listened to mostly indie/rock stuff at home, I did used to go clubbing quite a bit and have seen (at festivals or clubs): Orbital, Faithless, The Prodigy, Chemical Brothers, Grooverider, Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Zion Train, Air, Massive Attack, Nightmares on Wax... I still really enjoy the more chilled out electronic music. Two of my favourite albums are: Nightmares on Wax - Smokers Delight, and Kruder & Dorfmeister - The K&D Sessions (especially their remix of Alex Reece's Jazz Master). And while on the subject of dance music... let me take this opportunity to plug the new album by some friends of mine: Sisters In Paradise - by Electric Puha. Check em out: www.electricpuha.com

Cool! Only the link on the homepage www.kink.nl doesn't work (if that is in fact supposed to be a link). To hear the song you have to go to the Outlaw 41 list. Or go to www.belugarecordings.com and click on the mp3 tab at the bottom, then scroll down the list til you get to the puha stuff. Edited by: sezmo

Great song! Over played to death though. Brings back loads of memories, of listening to that song when it was still underground, and the cheesy radio stations hadnt killed it yet

i used to mix recordsat raves back in the day . seems like ages ago. what crazy days those were! every now and then i'll pull out an old classic like the first northern exposure, or sasha's gu san francisco, but for the most part i stay away from newer stuff. it just doesn't appeal to me much anymore. my guitar has pretty much replaced my turntables. i've still got all my records though Edited by: cneill
