Hey I sent my sister to montreal with my recording equip. to tape the show and she did a great job, from what I've heard so far. It was an acoustic show, and he played bottom shelf. I'll hopefully have it ready in a couple of weeks... |

Really, that's good to hear, I am curious to know what kind of equipment she used and how tight security was @ the venue. Because I am going to Cleveland this weekend, to tape, and I am confident is getting the goods in, but I don't have a stealth microphone yet (I ordered it off Ebay, and the guy said it would be here by tomorrow, but f**ked up now I have to wait until Monday) anyway, I have a nice little ( about 5 inches) Omnidirectional Microphone that I tested out last night @ a show and worked well. Once you are in the venue, does Damien and his security crew care about taping (since this isn't stealth, I will kind of have to hold the mic in my hands, and it hard to clip to it something/somewhere on my body), just curious if you could help me with that.
And thanks for recording Montreal.

Equipment was :SOUND PROFESSIONALS DELUXE AUDIO TECHNICA MINIATURE BINAURAL MICROPHONES WITH CLIPS, SOUND PROFESSIONALS MINI BATTERY MODULE 3 inch output cable length; Add Adjustable Bass Roll-off; and a Sharp MD-MT90C Portable Minidisc Recorder, she had no problems with security or anything but she did have trouble changing discs so cold water is missing and then she had to leave early so part of the encore is missing - don't know how much because I haven't seen a full setlist, she left during eskimo.
