Well eskimo friends, i just saw my first Damien Rice permormance not in person, but video. Blower's Daughter just blows my mind. I eventually cried cause i am in that situation and he is sucha a great performer. Thank you guys for this site.

Totally know what you mean about writing its hard for me to write stuff that isnt like damiens stuff cus im always listening to it.

I have never been to the states but one of my best friends mother is from Illinois.I am 16 and a halfi am in a Damien Rice tribute band named Eskimo Friends our site is http://eskimofriends.co.uk. If you go to the media section and check out the vids and mp3s you'll hear us i don't have aim but do have msn.

i know what u guys mean about the whole writing. lyrically and guitarwise i find so many similarities just because i listen to him constantly. ill have a guitar part and ill like it and then ill realize it sounds similar to one of his songs.
