I could hear them all the time..any of the songs..

but the ones that still catch me the most.. are the life recordings.
The ones he sung in half empty pubs.. one time i saw a video..where he "performed" in his private rooms.. It was Cannonball and there was nothing but his voice resounding from the walls and his guitar.

Nine crimes (live in galway) and Rootless tree (live at abbey road). He sings rootless tree with so much anger it is excellent. The bit where he is screaming let me out and then just drops his voice and says f**k you.... is the best part of the song.

I didn't think I could get sick of him. When I was depressed I didn't stop listening to "O" (Oddly enough it helped not hindered my condition) on repeat. But when "9" came out I HAMMERED it, and for a long while I just couldn't go near any Damien. Serves me right.
Favourites are anything from O. Couldn't get sick of.
And 9 Crimes (Hammered that since the old bootleg video with the candles and never got tired), Rat Within the Grain, Me My Yoke & I, Sleep Don't Weep, Coconut Skins, Animals.
Haha My girlfriend is sick of Elephant, since she saw him at Electric picnic.

Absolute best performance of his I've ever seen or heard. Hands DOWN.
I remember my friend saying that the best version of I Remember was the Letterman one, but then I showed her this one, and she was just gobsmacked, and took it back immediately...
In fact I'm going to go and watch it.

If you go to youtube and type in "Damien Rice, I remember four seasons"
For some reason someone has named it after the hotel and not BBC Four Sessions...
Someone has posted it in the Youtube Favourites thread in "Everything else"

As I mentioned in my first post in this thread, the whole 4 sessions (four-seasons named) show was absolutely awesome.
Delicate, Volcano, i Remember, LonelySoldier and many more excellent performances.

Oh I remember the days when I was obsessed with Prague. Back when I only had it on his cd as a hidden track, I'd wait for the song to be over and rewind all the way back to where it started after the long pause after silent night, and listen to it all over again!
