Default Whats a good site to get Damien ringtones from?

I dont trust alot of these shady internet sites... I wanted to get volcano, but I can't seem to make the ringtone of it from i-tunes because it isnt offered in the i-tunes store. Anyone have a good site that they've also purchased ringtones from successfully minus the spam?

Just copy the mp3 on to your phone from your hard drive via USB cable? (depending on your phone..if it can play mp3s or not..if its USB compatible or not..if its neither, and it has a melody maker feature...just spend hours punching in the tone with the variables of note length and note pitch )

if you go to mobile17.com you can make a ringtone of any song you have on your computer....you can even pick which part of the song you want it to be and how long you want it to be...ive used the site a few times its good..sometimes it takes a little bit longer than they say for the ringtone to be delivered to be patient

i'm pretty sure it's capable, i got a razr not too long ago, i just haven't played around with it enough to figure out all of the features. i only had a really basic phone before.

i used to have a song composer on my old phone, and i actually did program in sister midnight for a ringtone.. it was like playing a little text piano.

I have an iPhone, and apple wants to be difficult.

well, if you purchase the song from itunes you can cut out the portion you want as your ringtone. Unfortunately, Itunes does not have the O album.

Me too! You can do it with any mp3 - you just need the clip to be less than 30 seconds long. Convert it from mp3 to AAC (on the latest iTunes: right-click on the song, click "create AAC version" and it'll make a copy for you), then just rename the file extension to M4R and it'll recognize it as a ringtone. I've got Lisa on mine right now

It's not really an official instrumental track, but... the version of Accidental Babies from the 08.12.2006 gig in LA had a 90 second piano intro and 2 minute outro (with Vyv on cello) that's pretty nice.

i'm not familiar with the razr, so i don't know if it comes with a usb cable. if it doesn't you can always email the song to your phone. using itunes (or whatever program you prefer) get a clip that's about 30 seconds long from the song you want to use, then send it to your phone. verizon is my carrier, so my phone's email addy is xxx-xxx-xxxx @ vtext.com (the x's represent the digits of my phone number)

if you don't know what your phone's email addy is, simply send a text msg from your phone to your regular computer email addy to find out.

here's a link to instructions for creating ringtones in itunes for the razr... i alwys email them to my phone as i have an unlimited data plan, but if you are paying per message received, it may be worth looking into the software mentioned in this article.

I just transfer the song I want as ringtone to my phone via bluetooth, and choose for it to be the ringtone, no fancy schmanzies, no extra fees. What phone do you have? Can you store music on it?

right click on the song > rename > change the mp3 to m4r

I think you need to enable the "show file extensions" option:
On a Mac - http://www.fileinfo.net/help/mac-show-extensions.html
On Windows - http://www.fileinfo.net/help/windows...xtensions.html

Hmm... did you tell iTunes where to look for it?

Plug in your iPhone, then when all those tabs come up go to the Ringtones tab, and make sure that your new m4r is in the same folder as the one the Ringtones tab syncs with...

It should work. That's exactly how I did it for mine...?

I know this thread is a few days old but you could do the following:

1. go to audiko.net
2. Search for Damien Rice
3. Download ringtone (has mp3 versions and iphone versions as well)

its a collection of ringtones ppl have made and posted on the site. Good Damo collection. You can also use the site to make your own using their in browser web tools.

best of all - ITS FREE and no SPAM. I use it extensively!

Acoustic is my favourite but there is still a charm about the Electric. Although you can never beat the purity and zesty sound an acoustic guitar produces.

ok... i have plenty of Damien Rice ringtones on my phone... Easy as pie...

Go to www.myxer.com (copy paste)

then follow the instructions to browse your computer for an mp3, and it will convert it to a ringtone and Text Msg it to your phone.

If the Txt doesnt send (which sometimes it doesnt for me) you can visit the website on your phones internet (if it has it) and download it directly...
