Calling All Eskimo Compilers!
When uploading your song, make sure its only mp3 or wma first.
Upload it to http://briefcase.yahoo.com and ask Robmcgrail for the username and password. Upload to that briefcase. mp3 will do. * In a few weeks ill let people know what songs are on it, and ask the artists to send their song in Lossless Wav. (preferably; i need to know if it cant be WAV) form via megaupload.com or CD to me. The compilation will then be mastered. This album is for charity and any support is appreciated. tim.

Ok so the end of the months comming up pretty quickly and we only have two files uploaded into the briefcase. Thanks to callum and chris for that.
If everyone could really kinda make an effort to get them all in (just mp3 formatt) a quick recording even, just so we have it for reference and can get things moving that would be great. due to the lack of replies in this thread and the lack of PM's ive had i think we need to extend the dealine to next week. so lets say the 6th july |

No problem. Hope it's satisfactory.
Will there be a chance to re-record it at some point? Or just touch up on it or anything?

well if it was yesterday. the cd would contain 2 songs. so it had to be extended. i dont think this will be the final chance to work on your song. but im not 100% sure. either way make sure you get somthing half decent. you might just get the chance to edit it around a little more in the futrue before its all sent of.

I put up Pirate Song and The Sun. Calum, which would you put on? They're both quite different to each other so I just couldn't decide.

Well, i'm not sure. It depends what sort of feel you're looking for in your part of this compilation. This is for charity too, so charitable things do tend to be humourous, so it could be the Pirate Song... hmm... See what the problem is here! I'd personally put up The Sun (thought it was with an o by the way?), but that's just because i have a preferance to more... well depressing songs! I don't know... anymore babbling and i'm going to confuse myself!

The white in the booger's eyes has turned red from looking at the screen all day so we're calling it a day - what we're sending is very demo'esque cause we're huge newbies with this studio constellation (set up part in our kitchen, part in the hallway), a lot of f*ckups are in there and it sounds funny but it has some qualities, just needs 10 minutes more work - will send it in a few days, promesso.

for now its probly best just to choose one. untill everyone has uploaded theres. as theres only limited space in the driefcase. so hogging up space could mean someone else isnt able to upload. but once everyones got them in there you can start adding more i guess.

ok deadlines getting closer and closer now. i still havnt had too many requests for the passowrds to the briefcases. There seemed to be more interest oringinally than there is now. so if youve forgotten about it or are putting t off make sure you get something done so you dont miss the opportunity. I think theres 5 tracks in the briefcase now.

Would be nice to either:
- try to hype this project in order to get more compilers - make each compiler contribute more than 1 song, OR - drop it like it's hot. edit: my song's not in the folder anymore - perché?? edit of edit: it was there anyway, ne'r mind
